MOE SCHLACHTER, MS, RD, LD, CDE

Moe is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian (RD, LD) and Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) who’s provided exceptional client centered nutrition care in Houston since 2012. He earned a Masters (MS) of Nutrition degree at Texas Woman’s University in Houston, TX.
Moe utilizes Medical Nutrition Therapy and evidenced based counseling techniques to help clients of all ages maximize nutrition related quality of life, and enhance health-associated behaviors. He creates a judgement free zone in which his clients can explore their goals and set real progress in motion. Recognizing that one size does not fit all, Moe tailors his therapeutic approach to each client’s needs, learning style and communication preferences. His experience is comprehensive and includes diabetes management, eating disorder treatment, weight management, GI, cardiovascular disease, pediatric nutrition, and enteral & parenteral nutrition support.
Beyond his work with clients, Moe is an Adjunct Professor of Nutrition at San Jacinto College, a position he’s held since 2014. Moe is also a frequent contributor in the media including monthly cooking spots on CBS television in Beaumont and as guest nutrition correspondent on ESPN Radio. Moe served as President of the Houston Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and was nationally recognized as Texas’s Young Dietitian of the Year in 2015.
