Megan Heath, LPC

Intake Clinician

As an Intake Clinician for the Lovett Center, Megan’s role is to support clients beginning or exploring new ways to enhance their therapeutic journey. By first gaining a comprehensive picture of the specific needs of each client via an intake assessment, Megan collaborates with clients to create a clear path forward. She works to foster a respectful, authentic and empathetic environment to set a sturdy foundation for the therapeutic process to begin.

Megan has extensive experience working in case management for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, the unhoused population in Houston, and refugees. Drawing upon this understanding, Megan employs a sociocultural perspective in her work with clients.

In her spare time, Megan enjoys riding her bike, practicing yoga, and listening to audiobooks.

Megan looks forward to meeting you at this step in your therapeutic journey.
