Dr. Sprintz is a nationally recognized expert in the intersection of addiction and chronic pain. A passionate and engaging public speaker, physician executive, consultant, and software entrepreneur, Dr. Sprintz trained at Johns Hopkins and MD Anderson Cancer Center and is triple board-certified in Addiction Medicine, Pain Medicine, and Anesthesiology. He is the founder of Cellarian, Inc., a company dedicated to automating medical necessity documentation, enabling healthcare providers to focus more on patient care.
In recovery for over 24 years, Dr. Sprintz also founded the Sprintz Center for Pain and Recovery in 2013 before joining Ethos. He has served on the Drug Testing Expert Panel for the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). Currently, serves on ASAM’s Practice Management and Regulatory Committee, the FDA’s Analgesic and Anesthetic Drug Products Advisory Committee, and the Texas Medical Association’s Behavioral Health Committee.
Dr. Sprintz enjoys life in The Woodlands with his wife, Kimberly, their son, Havon, and their four cats—two large Savannahs and two normal-sized companions.
