Lauren Ziff came to social work as a second career, carrying a strong passion for helping others. She earned an undergraduate degree in psychology and spent time in education before beginning her work in the field. While attending the University of Houston’s Social Work Graduate program, she completed a one-year internship with The Lovett Center, finished a fellowship in the Trauma Program, and was inducted into the Phi Alpha Honor Society before earning her Master of Social Work in 2023.

As a clinician at Lovett, Lauren was trained in psychodynamic therapy with both individuals and groups. She enjoys working with adults who may experience symptoms of anxiety, depression, and mood disorders, as well as those who have experienced or witnessed trauma. Warmth, empathy, and connection are at the heart of her therapeutic work, and she enjoys building a trusting relationship with her clients.
