Who we are
About
The Lovett Center
Since 2014, we have been built around one conviction: gather a community of exceptional clinicians under one roof, and the people who come to us get more connected, more thoughtful care. More than 7,000 people later, that is still how we practice.

Our story
A community of clinicians,
under one roof.
In 2014, Will Davis and Robert Hilliker set out to build something Houston did not have: a home where talented therapists could practice together instead of in isolation.
The plan was to provide office space and support. What they discovered was that putting a community of behavioral health professionals under one roof changes the care itself. Clinicians consult one another, share what works, and keep learning, and the people they treat feel the difference.
So they changed course, turning that space into The Lovett Center: an outpatient practice where more than 25 specialized clinicians collaborate around each person who walks in. Will, a commercial real estate developer of more than 20 years, designed the building to feel calm and intentional rather than institutional. Robert, who trained at the Menninger Clinic and the University of Houston, shapes a clinical culture built on connection and continued learning.
That work has been recognized beyond our walls, too: a Cougar 100 award for being among the fastest-growing companies led by University of Houston alumni, and a feature on Houston's Great Day Houston.
What we believe
Good care comes from
a connected community.
Lovett was built on the belief that clinicians do their best work in community, not isolation, and that the people they treat feel that difference. Three principles guide how we practice.
-
People
We put the people in the room first, clients and clinicians alike. Care starts with a genuine, trusting relationship, and everything else is built on top of it.
-
Partnership
Our clinicians practice as a community: consulting one another, sharing what works, and learning together. That collaboration extends to you. We make decisions about your care with you, not for you.
-
Purpose
Nothing here is incidental. From our clinical programming to the design of the building itself, every part of The Lovett Center is shaped with a specific intention: to make getting better feel possible.
Leadership
The people who
shape the care.
Lovett’s clinical direction, medical strategy, and everyday care are led by a team with unusually deep credentials. Here are a few of them.

Where we are
Rooted in Montrose,
open to all of Houston.
You will find The Lovett Center at 900 Lovett Boulevard, in a restored building shaded by live oaks in the heart of Montrose.
We chose this place deliberately. It sits minutes from downtown, the Texas Medical Center, Greenway Plaza, and the Galleria, so care is reachable whether you are coming from the inner loop or the suburbs.
Just as much, the building is meant to feel like a place you can exhale: calm, considered, and a world away from an institutional waiting room. Where you do this work matters. Most major insurance plans are accepted, along with self-pay options, and you can review the details on our insurance page.
