About

Healing relationships,
rebuilding trust.

Tad Bodeman is a Senior Clinician at The Lovett Center whose practice centers on healing relationships, easing sadness, and fostering joy, peace, and deepening intimacy. He helps couples and individuals heal previous wounds and rebuild trust while building a deepening friendship and emotionally intimate, joy-filled marriages and relationships. Even when partners feel hurt, angry, or hopeless, his work holds to the belief that real hope remains.

Tad stays focused on each client’s goals and on the root of their relational struggles, working toward lasting results with a comforting style drawn from more than 39 years of clinical and executive-level business experience. His clinical training includes Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, the Gottman Method, a two-year postgraduate psychodynamic psychotherapy program, and Clinical Social Work. He earned his Master’s in Social Work from the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work.

Outside Lovett, Tad helped found A Future and a Hope Ministries, a non-profit providing affordable, faith-based mental health services. He and his wife have been married for more than 38 years and are parents to an adult daughter and son.
